Happy PMS

Is happy PMS (premenstrual syndrome) possible? Must those few days every month be utterly horrible or can PMS be a happy time? For many women, yes. PMS can be happy. A positive attitude, a proactive approach to dealing with symptoms and seeing the humorous side to this time of the month are the three strategies in any quest for happy (or at least happier) PMS.

When you're depressed, anxious, feeling bloated and cramping, this may not seem so easy, but try, as best you can, to take how you're feeling during PMS in context. See the bigger picture. You're not ill or unhealthy. In fact, you have a pretty impressive, seemingly fully functional reproductive symptom. Be happy about that at least. Also, always, always remember that PMS only lasts for a few days each month. Definitely something else to be happy about!

Do as much as you can with diet, exercise and supplements to minimize PMS symptoms. See the funny side of what you're going through rater than letting it get you down. Get happy with PMS this way. After all, you become a completely different person personality-wise for a few days each month. Indulge yourself for a change rather than fighting it. Go with however you feel and laugh at your outrageous irrational behavior as much as you can. Be happy and embrace the fact you're a healthy, fertile woman, who along with millions of other women on the planet, are experiencing one of womankind's many burdens each month.

Remember all of this and PMS is guaranteed to be a happier time in future, not just for you, but for everyone around you!
